1st Match
Redcar Town were on top form. Liam in goal saved a few shots, but most of
the possession was from the Redcar boys who passed well and put 100% effort
in to the game. Kevin Hayes was excellent and scored a hat trick with Jack
Close and Joe in defence helping keep the ball out of the Redcar net. All
the Redcar boys were superb.
FINAL SCORE REDCAR TOWN U7's 3 - 0 Richmond Juniors
2nd Match
A different Redcar Team played against a difficult looking Richmond team
but the Redcar boys worked very hard to keep the score at half time to
0-0.
In the second half Redcar showed they could keep posession and work as a
team by keeping their shape and passing. Nathan Dale had whacked a
brilliant shot against the post which fell to the lethal Curtis Wood to
score on his debut. What an excellent signing by the management!!
FINAL SCORE REDCAR TOWN U7's 1 - 0 Richmond Juniors
3rd Match
At the end of a tight first half the score was 0-0 with both teams trying
desperately to get a goal.Second half saw the Redcar boys start to pass more consistantly. Curtis
broke through and passed to Nathan who scored with his right foot. Curtis
went on to score two more before winning a corner. Curtis took a wonderful
corner which rebounded of Liams knee in to the back of the net. The
celebration from Liam was energetic to say the least.
Nathan then had a shot which Curtis got a foot to to put the ball in the
back of the net.
Every Member of the team got Man of the Match because they all worked hard
and passed the ball whilst putting in 110% effort.
A special mention must go to the travelling support who after a long
journey were enthusiastic throughout. Thank You!
