Season 2005 to 2006 Review
The 2005/2006 season proved to be a great season for Redcar Town ‘B’.
They started the season under new management and got off to a great start winning 2-0. This set the tone for the rest of the season.
Coming up to Christmas they were second in the League and still unbeaten with a top of the table clash next against a Brotton team who had played Eight and won Eight. Redcar were too strong and on top form to record 3-0 away win, so were top at Christmas.
Even after being deducted six points due to a team resigning from the League, having beaten them twice. Redcar dropped down to second place. But not for long.
Eventually winning the League by five points from their nearest rivals Brotton.
Redcar lost only one game one game all season, scoring fifty goals and amazingly only conceded four times. They had the Leagues top scorer with Ryan Bennions netting 26 times and Kyran Clark and Brad Plant also hitting double figures. Goalkeeper Ian Patterson and all of the defence having the best season possible, again conceding only four goals in twenty games. A marvellous achievement.
The whole squad played their part with every player being involved along the way.
Well done to everyone associated with Redcar Town ‘B’ under 10 and hopefully there’s better to come.

Season 2004 to 2005 Review
The Under 9's B competed in the TJFA League Division 2 and finished a creditable 4th.
They scored 41 goals and only conceded 19. Top goal scorer in the league was Kyran Clark with 15 goals
They had a good cup run reaching the Semi final of the TJFA Challenge Cup, losing 3-2 after extra time.
Manager Martin Westcough left mid season due to family and work commitments therefore secretary Ian Dilly took control
of the coaching and managing of the team until the end of the season. Highest win was 11-0 against Kader with Kyran
netting 8 goals. Most memorable game was the last game of the season against League Champions New Marske,
they had a 100% record, our boys were really up for it and on the day they were outstanding although a win for
Redcar would have been a fair result it finished 2-2. Three of the boys have been selected to train with
Middlesbrough Development Centre, these being Bradley Plant , Jake Finn and Kyran Clark a tremendous achievement.
Next Season the team will have a new management team.
The Club, all the boys and their parents would like to thank Martin and Ian for all their hard work and dedication
this past Season and wish them both success in the future.
