South West Soccer Club's Goalkeeping coach Pete Gregory will be holding a 3 hour goalkeeping training session down at Redcar Rugby Club
All ages can attended on Thursday 27th December at 9am - 12' oclock.- The session is free.

A set of goals with net and agility training poles were stolen from the Container at the Trunk rd, Dormanstown.
The thieves entered the container and removed one set of goals before closing the container up again.
The police have been informed, so keep your eyes open for the 3/4 set which are silver in colour.

6th Sept 2007 - The Kick Off for this Season is almost upon us.
This weekend see's the start of the T.J.F.A League campaign for our teams.
The U-8's will be getting their first taste of competitive football on grass with a home fixture against Boro, Rangers.
The U-9's 'A', Last season's League Runners-up have a tough opener as they travel to last years Champions Marton HD, whilst the 'B' team are at home to Normanby United.
The U-10's 'A' team Last season's League Cup Champions are at home against Whinney Banks, whilst the 'B' team will be hoping to impress their new management team as they take on Teesside Athletic 'A'.
The U-11's 'A' team and last years League Cup Winners have an interesting Derby against Teesside Athletic, whilst the 'B' team play host to Newton Aycliffe SC.
The U-12's 'A' team travel to last years Champions Cleveland Juniors whilst the Current North Riding County Cup holders the 'B' team welcome Stokesley to the Trunk road.
The U-13's 'A' team and last years North Riding County Cup finalists are away to League Champions Marton HD.
The 'B' team take the long journey to Trimdon United in their opening game.
The New improved U-14's Start their season off with a home game against promoted Stockton West End.
The U-15's have a tricky away game at Billingham Town.
The U-16's will play host to newly promoted Kader FC down at the Rugby Club.
The U-18's kick their seson off with an away match at Hartlepool FC.

16th June - SALTBURN GALA 7 A SIDE WINNERS Bobby Cockburn U12's brought more silverware to the Club beating Saltburn Town in the Final only conceeding one goal all day

We had Three representatives at the Annual TJFA Presentation Evening held at the Tall Trees, Yarm
The U-8's finished Runners-up in Div 1 after their first season on grass, congratulations to Steve Peggs and the boys for a great acheivement.
The U-14's also finished Runners-up in Div 1 after they broke the long running Marton/N&SA dominance.
A Thoroughly deserved appearence at the Tall Trees from Steve and the boys.....Well Done.
The U16's became Runners-up in Div 1after a great season.....Congratulations Billy & Dave.
27th May - SOUTH PARK TOURNAMENT SUCCESS
Another Fantastic two days at the Annual South Park Rangers 7 & 11-a-side Tournament.
On Saturday our U-14's claimed the 'Winners Trophy' for the 4th year in a row again without conceding a single goal.
Sunday was even better as The U-13's collected the 'Winners Trophy' for the fourth time in a row,
The U-11's 'A' team in their first 11-a-side appearence beat the hosts to pick up the 'Winners Trophy'
Whilst The U-15's players had a bet with Manager Pete 'Brocky' that if they won the tournament they could shave his hair off.
A Brilliant tournament performance from the lads saw the U-15's collect the 'Winners Trophy' and Brocky got a...........Number 1.
22nd May - Congratulations to both our U-9's 'A' team & U-10's 'A' team following their success in the TJFA Leauge Cup Finals.
The U-9's beat a hard working Cleveland Juniors 'B' team 2-1 with goals from Jack Rose And Player of the match Sam Parry.
The U-10's had the nail biting experience of the penalty shootout following James Metcalfe's hat trick in a 3-3 draw with Boro kids.
The Redcar boys won the penalty shootout to be 'Crowned Champions.'
It was Hard Luck for our U-15's who battled extremely hard against 1st Division Marton, despite a hat trick from Adam Preston and a goal from Dean Wallace, Redcar went down 6-4.
Player of the match went to Redcar Town's Jordan Mansell.

16th May - Redcar Town U-11's 'B' team celebrate after their North Riding County Cup win over New Marske.
12th May - U-8's 'Hertel Riverside Champs'
The U-8's won the Hertel Riverside Football Tournament on the hallowed turf of the 'RIVERSIDE' after beating the likes of Cleveland Juniors, Billingham Town, Teesside Athletic, Nunthorpe and Boro Juniors they faced Eston in the final and ran out comfortable 2-0 WINNERS
10th May - U-16's make it a Tall Trees Trio.
Our U-16's got their just rewards to finish Runners-up in North Riding Div 1.
After being very close in two cup semi-finals the lads battled hard to pip Marton........Well Done.
08th May - Congratulations to The U-14's.
The U-14's produced their best League campaign to date after only two league defeats, they beat the previous seasons Champions Norton & Stockton 3-0 in the last game of the season to claim Division 1 Runners-up spot.
06th May - WELL DONE OUR U-11's 'B'
Congratulations Gary & Diddy and all the U-11's B players after their North Riding County Cup final WIN against New Marske.
Also hard luck to The U12's 'A' & U-14's who were both narrowly defeated by Marton FC.

Well Done to DAVE WATCHMAN who battled against very windy conditions in the Redcar Half Marathon to record an excellent 1 hour 52 mins and Raise Approx £200 for the Club
10th March - The Redcar Town JFC Race Night which was held at the Redcar Rugby Club was a great success with a very good turn out the night which raised a total of £650.
U-15's Storm Into Cup Final.
The U-15's have made it a Hat Trick of Finalists for the Club after their 3-1 victory over South Park Rangers.

5th October 2006 - CUP SUCCESS - It was a great week of League Cup action from our Club as SEVEN teams are now through to the next rounds of the T.J.F.A. LEAGUE CUP: U-9's A, U-10's A, U-11's A&B, U-12's A, U-14's and the U-16's.
Whilst our U-9's B, U-10's B&C, U-12s' B, U-13s and U-15s now enter the CHALLENGE CUP.

27th AUGUST 2006 - Redcar Town under 14s have lifted the Marton Cup 11-a-side tournament held at Hall Drive, Acklam.
The boys won all four group matches against Coulby Newham 2-0, Marton U-13s 6-0, North Ormesby 8-0 and Spraire Lads 2-1.
They then beat a hardworking Billingham Town 3-1 in the Semi final before Conquering the hosts Marton HD by 1-0 in the Final.
A great acheivement from the lads to go to Hall Drive and take home the MARTON CUP

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY - It was England V USA as our under 13s & 14s were up against South West Soccer Club from California.
Both Redcar teams played well with the U-13s battling out an entertaining 3-3 draw whilst the U-14s had an impressive 3-0 win.

25th APR 2006 - TOP QUALITY COACHING The player's from our Under 13s experienced a training session the American way as Pete Gregory from the South West Soccer Club in California USA,
agreed to train them on his recent visit to the North East.
Pete a former Darlington Youth Keeper has amassed wealth of coaching experience including 4 years coaching with Leeds Utd and Hull City Centre's of Excellence,
5 years
at the Junior centre of Excellence (11-16years old) he also has 6 years competitive coaching culminating in two State cup Championships.
Pete will be bringing his under 12s & under 13s to visit the UK in late July where both groups will play Redcar Towns U-12s & U-13s.

24th FEB 2006 - NEW FOOTIE PLAYERS WANTED - After a very popular year at Redcar Town Junior Football Club the Saturday morning club has now returned to its home of Borough Park.
Three new teams have successfully been formed out of the saturday morning club, who will now continue to train at Redcar & Cleveland College, leaving Borough Park to Continue it's success and development of improving childrens football skills with the emphasis based on fun and fitness.
Any Boy's and Girls wanting to join in on Saturday Mornings must be between 5 and 12 years.
Girls only football (hopefully progressing into a team) will be starting from April 2006.

THE SEASON SO FAR - With the 2005/06 season just under half way and the Christmas Break upon us many of Redcar Town JFC teams have had a great start, we all hope it continues into the second half of the season, culminating in plenty of silverware.

22 DEC 05 - Under 8's - This is the first time at competative football for the youngster's. They are currently 3rd in Div 1 collecting 17 Pts from 9 games. They have joint top scorer's, Sam Parry and Josh Nawton both with 2 goals each.

22 DEC 05 - Under 9's - Are in a comfortable 4th place in Div 1 and are still in the Challege Cup, with a solid defensive record only conceding 5 goals, their top scorer is Connor Holmes with 6 goals.

22 DEC 05 - Under 10's 'A' - Are slightly under performing in Div 1 but flying high in the League Cup, already into the Semi-finals after defeating Marton and Cleveland (two of the Leagues top teams), another team very strong defensivly with Dan Oakes only conceding 7 league goals so far.

22 DEC 05 - Under 10's 'B' - Top of the table in Div 2 and still undefeated in the league. Goalkeeper Ian Patterson has 8 clean sheets while Ryan Bennions is the Division's top scorer with 16 goals.

22 DEC 05 - Under 11's 'A' - Business as usual, Top of Div 1, which is no surprize after scoring 40 goals in 9 league games, still in both League and North Riding County Cups with top scorer Nathan Hayward on 22 goals so far.

22 DEC 05 - Under 11's 'B' - At the moment a creditable 4th in Div 4 after a slow start they have improved immensly, still in the League Cup and their Top scorer Ryan Jennings has 19 goals so far.

22 DEC 05 - Under 12's - Another great start to the season currently 2nd in Div 1 with the best defensive record so far only 5 goals against, they are still in both League and North Riding County Cups, with Ste wilkin on 14 goals.

22 DEC 05 - Under 13's - Have had a flying start in all competitions, currently 3rd in Div 1, into the Quarter-Finals of both League and County Cups with top scorer Dave Corps on 10 goals, Keeper Sam Hodgson has 7 clean sheets out of 11 matches.

22 DEC 05 - Under 14's - 'Injuries 'R' Us' Still taking it easy in Div 1 the season has been hampered by injuries but on the plus side Richard Broome is still hitting the target with an excellent 17 goals.

22 DEC 05 - Under 15's - A steady start to their Div 1 campaign they are currently 4th in the league and still in the North Riding County Cup with their top scorer Liam Williams on 4 goals.

8th MAY 05 - WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY - Cup final day at Rockliffe Park, as expected was a fantastic
venue and for some of the kids a once in a life time experience that they will never forget, the TJFA
deserve a BIG PAT on the back, this Junior league is one of the best in Europe. On the day mixed emotions
for all our teams...... Under 9's were beaten by a strong Marton Hall Drive side,...... Under 10's dominated their
game but could not finish Coulby off, ended up losing on penalties,....... Under 11's were in a hard fought game but came out Triumphant WINNING 1-0 against
Marton...... Under 12's Were up for it from the start WINNING 3-1 against Marton Hall Drive..... Under 14's in
a tight game with neither side giving an inch, eventually lost on penalties.

30th APRIL 05 - CHAMPIONS R US - The Under 14's won five nil last night, which means
they are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS, they have had a back log of fixtures, and at times played three
games a week, all that hard work has paid off - WELL DONE LADS

24th APRIL 05 - YOU DONT WIN ANYTHING WITH KIDS - As TV Pundit Alan Hansen once said,
the Under 10's have proved again they are the real deal, after winning 10 nil today they have
clinched the TJFA Under 10's North Riding Division One Championship, a tremendous feat, well done
boys you are a credit to yourselves and the Club. Goal scorer's today Lewis Maloney (six), Josh Ellwood
(one), Matthew Crust (one), Nathan Hayward (two).

23rd APRIL 05 - FULL HOUSE - We now have FIVE teams competing in Cup Finals at
Hurworth on 8th May as the Under 14's won their semi-final against Belasis

23rd APRIL 05 - MORGAN'S MARVELOUS LITTLE MEN - the under 12's proved on their
day they are as good as anyone as they progressed to the final of the North Riding Cup, they
will play Marton in the final on 15th May 2005 - well done lads a terrific achievement.

1st MAR 05 - INVASION -Borough Park has been invaded by mating Seagulls, with serious consequences as they have turned
the Park into a mud bath thus making the Park unplayable.

Under 9's A, Bobby Cockburn's Under 10's B and Davy Markham's Under 11's.

3rd APRIL 05 - HURWORTH HERE WE COME - We now have FOUR teams going to Hurworth on the
8th May 2005 to play in Cup Finals. The UNDER 10's A beat South Park Rangers 5-2 in their Semi and
the UNDER 12's ran out 5-1 winners against Seaton Carew in their Semi to seal a place in the final,
both will join the UNDER 9's and UNDER 11's for what will be a great day out.

13th MAR 05 - NEW SMALL-SIDED PITCHES - As a temporary home our small sided teams have been given permission
to use Redcar and Cleveland College pitches at the campus site on Redcar Lane, after alot of hard work
by club members the pitches are now in top condition and ready for use.

13th MAR 05 - OLD BOYS RETURN - Nathan Hayward and Mitchell Morris both decided to Leave the Boro Academy
and rejoin the Under 10's and 11's respectively, Nathan already back to what he does best, scoring,
10 goals in 5 games.

22nd MAR 05 - HOTSHOT BROOME - Under 13's striker Richard Broome must be taking secret coaching sessions on
how to score goals as he currently has 34 League goals this season and Management Team Pete and Kelly
couldn't hit a barn door from 3 yards when they graced the field all those years ago.

20th MAR 05 - IT ONLY TAKES A SECOND - to score a goal, as the great Brian Clough once said, how true
with 10 minutes to go in a recent cup match the Under 10's were trailing 2 nil, Greg Peel reduced the
arrears and with 20 seconds left on the clock Nathan Hayward grabbed the equalizer to take the match
into extra time, two goals by Lewis Maloney and Greg Peel getting his second saw the boys run out
5 - 2 winners and progress into the Semi finals.

Tuck Shop on a Saturday Morning, which happens to co-inside with TV Chef Jamie Oliver's recent
